The Platinum Jubilee celebration of St. Victor Girls High school,Puttur was held on Dec 13, 2018 at Mai De Deus Church premises.
The programme commenced with a prayer song. Mrs. Reena Rebello welcomed the gathering followed by the report reading by Mrs. Rosaline Lobo the Headmistress of St. Victor’s Girl’s High School.

Pinto Correspondent, Mai De Deus Educational Institutions Rev. Fr. Praveen Dsouza, Assistant Parish Priest, Mai De Deus church Puttur, Mr. J.P Rodrigues, Vice-President, Parish Pastoral Council, Mr. Ullas Pai, Vice – President, PTA, Mrs. Mary Lobo, President, Alumnae Association, Mrs. Rosaline Lobo Headmistress, Ms. Dhruthi P.C , SPL were the dignitaries of the programme.
The Bishop of mangalore in his presidential speech highlighted that we need to give a value based education in order to lead a life of truth filled with values. The Secretary of Catholic Board of Education insisted everyone to “save our environment by planting more trees”Sri Shivaramayya, DDPI, appreciated the great work of Msgr. Antony Patrao, who opened the educational institutions to educate and serve the people of Puttur. Mrs. Svitha Chowta, Vice President, Rajalaxmi Education Trust, Moodabidri highly appreciated the discipline which is seen in all the educational Institutions. Which is really a gift to the society. Very. Rev. Fr. Alfred J. Pinto Correspondent, Mai De Deus institutions said that Msgr Antony Patrao is the unique achiever who has contributed in the field of health education.
The students who achieved in curricular as well as co-curricular activities were honoured on this occasion.
‘Vijayaamritha Dhaare’- cultural programme was performed by the students dipicting the 75 years history. Ms. Hamnaz, Ms. Ansifa, Ms. Shravya, Ms. Safeeka, were the masters of ceremony of the cultural programme.
Mrs. Preema Frank proposed the Vote of thanks. Mr. Inas Gonsalves compered the programme.
